Boders Steam Train Trip - Part 1


On Wednesday the 14th of October after many weeks of waiting we went on a real Choo-Choo, 
here is our tale...

The Steam train took us from Edinburgh Waverley station to Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders.

And the No 60009 Union of South Africa arrived.
The steam locomotive as seen below is one of six remaining LNER Class A4's
and it was built in Doncaster in 1937. It was originally allocated the name “Osprey” but carried its new name when outshopped on 17th April, 1937. 




And inside the train... ready for our departure...


And off we went...
